Flight has resulted from millions of years of evolution which has produced some truly fascinating adaptations.

This presentation looks at how birds become airborne, how they travel with minimum expenditure of energy and, from vast soaring eagles to miniscule hummingbirds is illustrated with some of the most spectacular examples from around the world.
